if i post things that you don’t like and you still follow me
i hope you find $20 on the ground today
let’s have a prayer circle for all the women out there
who have never read better porn than 50 shades of grey
lol there’s a woman at my work who’s reading this now and is all into it and I’m like “I’m so sorry.”
People ask me if we have this in stock every day, and it takes all my willpower not to shriek “YOU CAN READ BETTER PORN ON THE INTERNET FOR FUCKING FREE AUGHSIGKHbidshuvsufdsilhs” at them.
We hate you because the store closes when it closes, not when you’re good and ready to leave.
“what fandom are you in”

… and this is why I no longer shop in person if I can possibly help it, because I am basically terrified of being this bad customer. I make it a life priority not to interact with any kind of customer service in any way.

Okay, when I worked retail, I loved every single person that was conscious of the fact that I wasn’t actually a slave put there just to please their every rude, unreasonably demanding, impossible, entitled requests. Polite, pleasant, reasonable customers made my day. It’s highly likely that if you go into a store and make an effort to treat the person that serves you as a human, then they will not go home thinking about what a dick you were. When I was condescended to, treated dismissively, and assumed to be uneducated was when I went home and bitched to every person I knew about the ass-wipe I’d served and sent in stories to Not Always Right. So, basically, you probably don’t need to worry? (And when you work in an environment in which you are regularly insulted, often for reasons that have nothing to do with you, then you really need to be able vent somewhere, because you certainly can’t say what you’re thinking to the face of the customer that’s treated you badly. Retail often takes away your ability to stand up for yourself.)
